Join Festival Chorale Oregon as we open our 46th season by returning to the Elsinore stage to perform W.A. Mozart's Requiem. A musical setting of the Mass for the Dead, the piece is widely recognized as a choral masterpiece even though it remained unfinished upon Mozart's death. The composer's attention to and interpretation of the text of the mass, coupled with beautiful and lyrical music, make this work a favorite of both singers and listeners. Soloists Nicole Peldyak, Sarah Beaty, Les Green, and Brett Peldyak will join the chorale and orchestra led by Founding Artistic Director Dr. Solveig Holmquist. Supported by a grant of Transient Occupancy Tax from the City of Salem.
