WHAT: A FREE CLASS for caregivers about Introduction to Trauma Informed Care. This training is designed to help anyone caring for an older adult learn more about how to identify ways of understanding possible reasons behind an individual’s thinking, behavior, and way of relating by using your knowledge. A certified instructor will share real-world experience in an interactive classroom environment and answer your important questions.
WHO: This training is available at no cost to anyone living or working in Oregon. Free classes from Oregon Care Partners can benefit anyone providing support and care for an older adult or person living with dementia, including family members, care professionals, support workers, volunteers, and public safety workers.
