Mt Hood Repertory Theatre is excited to announce that our production of The Life of Galileo by Bertolt Brecht, adapted and directed by Patrick Walsh, will be at OMSI in the Kendall Planetarium. Our production of Silent Sky by Lauren Gunderson was such a success last year that OMSI has invited us back.

This will be the third play performed in OMSI’s Kendall planetarium in its history and the third time worldwide that The Life of Galileo has been performed in a planetarium!

The performance includes stunning celestial visuals designed by OMSI Planetarium director Jim Todd, music performed live by Adrian Harris Crowne, and glorious period costumes by Daisy Irskin

The Life of Galileo delves into the story of Galileo Galilei, a scientist speaking truth to power in a world that doesn’t believe in science.
