The Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival (UCWWF) will celebrate its 40th anniversary from May 15–17, 2026, along the Wild and Scenic Upper Clackamas River near Estacada, Oregon – welcoming river enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers for a weekend of community and recreation.

First launched in 1984 by the Northwest Rafters' Association, ClackFest is one of the nation’s longest-running whitewater events. Now an independent nonprofit organization, the UCWWF remains dedicated to its core mission: bringing the river community together, promoting river safety and education, fostering competition, and preserving the festival for future paddlers.

ClackFest is thrilled to offer a packed schedule of events for kayakers, paddle rafts, oar frame rafts, catarafts, inflatable kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards and packrafts.

In between races, attendees can connect with gear vendors, test boats during demo sessions, attend clinics, and enjoy entertainment and food. A silent auction and raffle will be available throughout the weekend. Whether you're competing, spectating, or visiting for the first time, there's a place for you at ClackFest.

​​Camping is available on-site, with additional lodging options nearby in Sandy, including the Best Western Sandy Inn, as well as Camp Colton in Colton, which offers a variety of accommodations such as cabins, yurts, campsites, and RV spaces.
