World Without Orphans (WWO), a global movement dedicated to ensuring every child grows up in a safe, loving family, has announced its 2025 Roadmap Forum: Ready, Set, Grow!, a free global online event to be held over four weeks in May.

The forum is designed to bring together local practitioners, national leaders, and faith-based advocates from around the world to collaborate on practical strategies to prevent orphanhood, strengthen families, and support vulnerable children, WWO says.

“This is more than just a training event,” explained Karmen Friesen WWO Executive Director. “It’s an opportunity to learn, share, and co-create strategies, discover best practices, and develop practical solutions to ensure that every child has the chance to grow up in a loving family, knowing their Heavenly Father.”

The online event is aiming to equip leaders with the tools and partnerships they need to influence national child welfare systems, shift mindsets around orphan care, and bring lasting change to communities.

The invitation is for both individuals and groups—including small teams, churches, city coalitions, and national networks—who are involved in child welfare, family support, foster care, adoption, and church-based advocacy. Participants can join the live online sessions from anywhere in the world and are also encouraged to host their own local gatherings using the provided livestream and facilitator materials, according to WWO.

Key themes of the forum include:

  • Strengthening families to prevent child vulnerability and separation
  • Providing families for orphaned children through reunification, foster care, and adoption
  • Building partnerships to help children and families thrive
  • Supporting the well-being, self-care, and spiritual health of those serving in these areas

WWO encourages churches, nonprofits, and “anyone with a heart for vulnerable children” to participate and help spread the word.

The online event will be held twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8 to 10 a.m. New York time (1 to 3 p.m. London time). A variety of translation options will be available for participants from non-English-speaking regions, making the forum accessible to a global audience.

Registration is open now at https://wwo.global/forum and is free for those who sign up by April 15.
